Bat Warranty – Adnan Sports
At Adnan Sports, we are committed to providing the finest quality cricket products. For our cricket bats, we carefully select the best English Willow for each grade and handcraft it into premium bats. Since wood is a natural product, slight irregularities may occur as part of the normal process.
Bats that are damaged due to improper use — such as mistimed shots, playing on edges, striking yorkers at the toe, or poor preparation — are not covered under warranty and cannot be replaced. Similarly, bats that have been modified or repaired without authorization from Adnan Sports are not eligible for replacement.
Warranty Exclusions
The following damages are not covered under warranty:
-
Damage caused by extreme weather (moisture, damp pitches, or excessive heat).
-
Water-damaged bats.
-
Damage from using non-leather balls, bowling machine balls, or composite balls.
-
Normal wear and tear such as small cracks, which are common and do not affect performance.
If a manufacturing fault occurs, such as the handle not being fixed properly into the blade, Adnan Sports will replace the handle. However, the total freight/shipping cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
Minor issues such as small cracks, handle wear, or other repairable damages should be handled locally. Small cracks often indicate the need for further oiling and knocking.
Important Notes
-
The look and appearance of a bat change after use. It is not expected to remain new and naturally deteriorates with time.
-
A cricket bat is not a lifetime product. Its life depends on frequency of use, proper care, and correct playing technique.
-
Higher-grade willow (G1) is softer compared to lower grades (G3 or G4) and therefore requires more careful handling and use with top-quality leather balls.
Warranty Claim Process
-
Warranty is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
-
Proof of purchase (receipt or email confirmation) is required when making a claim.
